To create a platform that aims to empower patients to get information on their recovery process and elevate nurse productivity by streamlining their workflow.
Singapore Health Services, or SingHealth, is Singapore’s largest cluster of healthcare institutions. The cluster was formed in 2000 and consists of four public hospitals, two community hospitals, five national speciality centres and a network of eight polyclinics. We co-created the in-ward patient experience application, MyCare, together with SingHealth and Apple’s Enterprise Design Lab so that patients can better understand their journey to recovery and nurses can provide patient care with greater efficiency.
Recognising the importance of digital transformation in a sector as crucial as healthcare, SingHealth sought to optimize workflows and improve patient care through the creation of the MyCare application. With the MyCare app, patients can now access their medical records and daily care schedules with ease, in addition to making requests for food, toileting service and housekeeping through the interactive messaging function in the app. Quality care is thus guaranteed through the ease of use of the app that aims to enhance the patient experience and improve nurse productivity.
The MyCare app is equipped with a clean-cut user interface, making it easy to use and intuitive for patients young and old alike, regardless of their digital savviness.
MyCare has been incorporated into existing clinical pathways and flows, streamlining patient support and care. Here at 2359 Media, we believe in building supportive tech infrastructure with a human-centric and inclusive approach, aptly demonstrated in the MyCare application.
